The most important ingredient to these muffins is the protein powder. The worst thing you could do is make delicious chocolate muffins and have that terrible protein aftertaste linger on your tongue....yuck.
I suggest using 1st Phorm Level 1 Protein. The flavor I used was German Chocolate Cake. Other than that one specific ingredient you can substitute other ingredients with whatever you want to make them yummy and unique to you.

First, preheat your oven to 400 degrees and line or grease a muffin tin.

You will need:

6 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder

1/2 cup 1st Phorm Level 1 German Chocolate Cake protein powder

1 1/2 cups coconut flour

1/2 cup Stevia

1 Tsp baking powder

1/2 Tsp baking soda

2 large eggs

1 cup coconut/almond milk

1/2 cup almond/peanut/nut butter

1 Tbsp vanilla extract

1 Tbsp coconut oil

1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Once everything is mixed well together put them in a muffin tin, added chocolate chips to the top and bake for 12-15 minutes.Depending on your oven they could take longer or shorter to cook, just check on them after 12 minutes. They won't rise too…

Once everything is mixed well together put them in a muffin tin, added chocolate chips to the top and bake for 12-15 minutes.

Depending on your oven they could take longer or shorter to cook, just check on them after 12 minutes. They won't rise too much like regular muffins with cake flour. Poke them with a toothpick or knife and when it pulls out clean they are done!!

Hope you try these out and enjoy with the family!
